What tips are there for getting the best deal? I’m assuming buying luxury watches are like buying cars, which means there is much flexibility in pricing. However, there are so many variables to consider. I’ve heard that certain brands have limitations due to contract with the manufacturer, and then it depends on the store. And then it also depends on if the watch model is new or not…
Also, does the current economy give me the leverage to negotiate harder, such as possibly 35% discount versus 25%? Luxury watches are discretionary purchases after all so I would think the retailers are hurting…
